Includes a 149-page holograph diary kept by Bennion from 1871 to 1876, while living on the "Bennion Ranch" near Vernon, in Rush Valley, Utah. She tells of the daily activities of a young woman including helping her mother, doing chores, and going to church and school. She also tells of visits to family members in Taylorsville, Utah. Entries are mostly short and recount simple incidents.
